Solar power works by converting energy from the sun into power. There are two forms of energy generated from the sun for our use – electricity and heat, both are generated through the use of our solar panels.
The Solar is based off of day light hours rather than how sunny it is outside. So you don’t have to worry about them good old British cloudy days.
The energy goes through your panel into the inverter at this point this is where the solar turns into actual useable energy for everything around your house.
This then goes into your meter where the battery would also be, if the energy isn’t being used it’ll get stored here.
After this point it goes straight into your mains where it will take over the mains electrics use as long as you have the power stored.
